The aircraft was carrying 18 passengers.
According to Dipak Baral, chief at the Pokhara Airport, the accident took place as the nose wheel of the aircraft could not be opened while landing.The aircraft obstructed the runway for two hours after the accident. The aircraft had occupied the runway since 7 am. The plane was towed toward the hanger with joint efforts of technicians and security personnel. Due to the closure of the airport, flights to Pokhara from Jomsom and Kathmandu were delayed by a few hours.
