Goma Air begins Jomsom-Pokhara flight service

MUSTANG, May 27: The Goma Air has launched its Jomsom-Pokhara flight service from Tuesday.

The flight service has been expanded here keeping with convenience of air passengers of the major tourism sites. The Goma aircraft carrying 18 passengers on board in its first flight Tuesday had landed at Jomsom Airport.The air service has been extended acting on the demand of domestic and foreign tourists, said Anil Sherchan of Goma Airlines. The Airlines has set an air fare of Rs 2,600 for Nepali and $ 123 for foreigners for the time being.

Before this, the Goma Air has been boarding passengers from Surkhet and Lukla. "Though we had mooted bringing flight service here earlier the earthquake has delayed our efforts. From now onward we would render our service regularly", Sherchan further said.

The Tara and Simrik Air have been rendering air services to passengers on Jomsom-Pokhara route. RSS
