KATHMANDU, March 9: Nepali Congress (NC) youth leader Gagan Thapa on Wednesday thanked all who those voted for him in the recently-concluded 13th General Convention of the party.
Issuing a statement, Thapa also congratulated the newly-elected president, general secretary and treasurer and wished for their successful tenure.
“The onus now lies on the office-bearers to make sure that everybody feels ownership of the party,” reads the statement, “I am hopeful that the leadership will guide the party incorporating aspirations of all.”

Thapa was in the race to NC general secretary, but was defeated by Sashanka Koirala.
