SURUNGA (Jhapa), Dec 25: The fire engulfed the house of Mauladhan Rai of Shaniarjun municipality-3, Bagedangi of Jhapa last night triggering loss amounting to over Rs 2.5 million.
The fire that broke out from the shed had turned into ashes Rai's house, shed and kitchen, confirmed Area Police Office, Birtamod.

DSP at Area Police Office, Birtamod Khadga Bahadur Khatry informed that the fire also killed a cow and a calf tied inside the shed.
