NEPALGUNG, June 7: A fire has broken out at the Nepalgunj Airport on Sunday afternoon.
Landing and takeoff at the airport have been halted following fire at a thatch field at the premises of the airport. Two fire engines along with security personnel are working to extinguish the fire.

Preliminary investigation suggests the fire was triggered by a cigarette thrown carelessly.
