Driver killed in gas bullet accident

KAWASOTI, March 14: A tanker carrying LP gas from India met with an accident that took place at Dumkibas-5 in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway Sunday night, killing its driver.

Police said that driver Sonu Kumar Thapa, 24, of Patna in Bihar, India, lost his life when the gas bullet with Indian number plate NL 1 L 3922 overturned after losing control.



Meanwhile, four persons have sustained injuries after a truck and LP gas bullet collided with each other last night in a separate road accident in the same location. All four injured are receiving treatment in the Bharatpur Medical College, Chitwan, according to police. RSS
