BAGLUNG, July 29: The problem of drinking water in Baglung Bazar, the headquarters of Dhaulagiri zone, has not come to an end even with the onset of rainy season.

Shortage of drinking water continues in Baglung because of short supply of water in the winter season and flow of dirty water in the rainy season. [break]

Water users here have been hit hard with the flow of polluted water on tape caused by incessant rain for the past couple of days.

Locals have been compelled to fetch pure drinking water from distant areas after water supplied through tape was not drinkable.

Though daily need of water in Baglung bazaar stands at 2,700,000 litres, the current supply is recorded to be 1,555,200.
