DHARAN, Aug 24: Dharan recorded another coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-related death on Monday.
A 22-year-old man from Siraha who earlier tested positive for coronavirus breathed his last at 3PM today while undergoing treatment at the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), according to spokesperson for the BPKIHS, Dinesh Sapkota.
BPKIHS reports one more coronavirus-related death
He was admitted to the BPKIHS six days ago after having breathing difficulties and high fever. The man was shifted to COVID-19 hospital after testing positive for coronavirus on Sunday afternoon. The man was also a heart patient.
Now, the BPKIHS administration is making preparations to dispose the dead body as per the COVId-19 protocol, Spokesperson Sapkota said.
This is the 12th coronavirus-related death reported by the BPKIHS.
