Police thrashed SS Event by eight wickets and Army thumped PC Fighters by 110 runs.
Inviting SS Event to bat first, Police's Manjeet Shrestha pocketed four wickets to restrict the batsmen from opposing team at 67 runs in 17.3 over. The player-of-the-match Manjeet gave away 16 runs in his 3.3 over spell.
Middle order players -- Suman Uday (19), Nischal Chaudhary (12), Sonu Tamang (13) and Ajay Rajbanshi (11) -- were the only batsmen to reach a double digit figure for SS Event.
In the run chase, opener Sunil Dhamala (31) and Amit Shrestha (not out 26) gave a solid start to Police, sharing a 53-run partnership for the first wicket. Siddhanta Lohani remained unbeaten for 13 runs as Police made 72 runs losing two wickets in 12.2 overs.
Praveen Joshi bagged two wickets for SS Event.
In another match, Sarad Veswakar scored 55 runs for Army, which posted 166-run target after being put to bat first. In reply, PC Fighters was restricted at 55 runs in 16.2 over after Bikram Sob bagged four wickets.
Sarad hit two sixes and four boundaries in his 42-ball knock. Rajesh Pulami (not out 33), Anil Mandal (29) and Binod Bhandari (17) came up with remarkable contributions for Army.
Anup Oli bagged two wickets for PC Fighters, removing openers Sagar Pun and Anil. Sabin Shakya also claimed two wickets.
In the run chase, PC fighters lost four batsmen for a duck as only three players reached double digit.
The player-of-the-match Bikram gave away 13 runs in his four over spell while Sarad and Sagar pocketed two wickets each for the winning side.
