Gold price hits new record, rises by Rs 1,300 per tola

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 270,600 per tola, the highest price recorded so far.

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The price of gold set a new record on Sunday, rising by Rs 1,300 per tola compared to the previous trading day.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 270,600 per tola, the highest price recorded so far.

Earlier, on Friday, gold had also reached a record level after increasing by Rs 1,800 to Rs 269,300 per tola.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased. Silver is being traded at Rs 4,835 per tola, up from Rs 4,565 per tola on Friday, the federation said.
