Gold price hits new record, reaches Rs 187,000 per tola

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 187,000 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 2,700 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 184,300 per tola.

KATHMANDU, April 16: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market on Wednesday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 187,000 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 2,700 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 184,300 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 10 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,955 per tola, up from Rs 1,945 on Tuesday.


Although the price slightly dropped at the beginning of the Nepali New Year, it has now surged to the highest level ever recorded.
