Talking to media persons following the meet, Chairman Dahal said the President inquired about the parties´ efforts for a consensus.[break]
In response, he said the political parties were working to that end and shared that the discussion held with the opposition--- the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML was heading towards a positive direction.
Chairman Dahal further said he shared with the President that he, as the Chairman of the largest political party, was striving to forge consensus and was hopeful for a fruitful end.
He also shared to the President about his party´s seventh extended meeting decision, which took the line of peace and constitution.
Responding to the journalists´ queries, Maoist Chariman Dahal said he expressed the confidence the President would not take any move at anyone´s incitation.
On the occasion, President Dr Yadav urged Chairman Dahal to immediately forge consensus and give a political way out to the nation.
Dahal was urged to take special initiative to seek a passage to the political impasse as he was leading the largest party.
