Canon Link at City Center, Kamal Pokhari, has introduced two new models in the range of Rs 25,000. According to the store, demand for camera usually goes up during Dashain and Tihar. But demand for low-priced cameras is growing in other seasons.
The store has lately introduced Canon IXUS 230 HS and Canon IXUS 1100 HS cameras. It also introduced VIXIA HF M41 camcorder. The Canon IXUS 1100 HS is a stylish and well-made touch-screen compact camera that offers good point-and-shoot usability, a generous zoom range with 12 mega pixel resolution. It is available in blue, red silver and black colors.
The Canon IXUS 230 HS also known as the ELPH 310 HS is a slim, funky colored digital compact camera boasting an 8x optical zoom with 12.1 megapixel resolution. It has a back-illuminated sensor using HS technology, a 3 inch LCD screen and DIGIC IV processor. The camera is in high demand in the market among youngsters because of its elegant design and attractive colors i.e. green, silver, purple, blue, pink and black.
The Canon VIXIA HF M41 Flash Memory Camcorder features a 32GB internal flash drive and dual SDXC-compatible memory card slots in an ultra-sleek, compact and lightweight body. The camcorder has new features such as cinema-look filters, story creator, and touch decoration, which provide an easy and fun way to shoot videos.
Similarly, Electronics Home at New Road introduced two new models of Sony camera - Sony DSC W570 and Sony DSC H70. According to the store, these feature-rich cameras are priced on the lower side and are very handy. DSC W 570 is available at Rs 16,000 while DSC H70 costs Rs 20,000.
The Sony Cybershot DSC W570 is an ultra compact digital camera with 16 megapixel resolution with 5x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD. This model is available in violet, silver, pink and black colors. The Sony Cybershot DSC H70 has 16 megapixel resolution and a 10x optical zoom lens, 3-inch LCD screen. This model is available in blue, red, silver and black.
