KATHMANDU, June 4: On request of major parties, the Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting slated for Thursday afternoon has been put off till 3 pm on Monday.
Co-spokesperson of CA Secretariat Sudarshan Kuinkel informed that the meet was postponed by pasting notice on request of parties.

Earlier, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) had agreed to request the Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang to postpone the CA meet for few more days.
A leader attending the meet said the two parties decided to request to that end to facilitate additional time to forge an accord.
Nepali Congress (NC) vice-chairman Ram Chandra Poudel said the meeting between four major political parties has been rescheduled for 5 pm this evening.
He added that UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal briefed Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and informed him on decision made by UML-UCPN(Maoist) meet and attempts for consensus.
