Cine stars Manisha Koirala, Govinda, Muralidhar and Tabbu, playback singer Udit Narayan Jha, music composer Bappi Lahiri, and artistes Bapin Ali, among others met the Prime Minister at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.In conversation with Bollywood artistes, PM Oli said the film industry could profit by shooting films amidst the natural beauty of Nepal. "The natural beauties of the Himalaya mountains, waterfalls and rivers could be used in films," he added.
Stating that preparations were on for constructing a film city in Nepal, PM Oli urged the Bollywood artistes to be benefited from this. He also expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Indian artistes in the post-earthquake rescue and relief works in Nepal.
Prior to this, the Prime Minister participated in a discussions with the business community of Mumbai.
On the occasion, he said there was now stability in Nepal and invited the Indian industrialists to invest in Nepal, adding that there was suitable climate for investment as the constitution has ensured the rights of all communities and regions.
The Prime Minister is returning home this evening wrapping up his six-day state visit to India. RSS
