The government side had put forth their official views with the taskforce members of the UDMF in the meeting.
According to UDMF taskforce member Ram Naresh Raya, the meeting focused on the 11-point demand floated by the UDMF.
The taskforce members of both the parties will sit on Saturday again after holding discussions with the top leaders of their respective parties.
Raya said that the tomorrow's meeting is likely to find a solution as the three parties are positive on their demands.
Taskforce member from the government side Krishsna Bahadur Mahara, UDMF leader Hridayesh Tripathi and NC leader and taskforce member Mahesh Acharya were present in the meeting.
The meeting held at the hall of the State Affairs Committee from 5 pm had lasted for two and half hours.
