The victim is Praneeta Chaudhary, 20, daughter of one Kripananda Chaurdhary of Pato VDC- 4, Saptari.
Some of the locals barred Praneeta from entering into the local Dakneshwori temple accusing her of be a witch and also manhandled with her, said Kripananda who arrived in the district headquarters seeking justice for his daughter.
He also complained of non- cooperation from Area Police Office, Pato in filing a petition against the culprits.
Praneeta is a BBS student at Rajbiraj-based Mahendra Bindeshowori Multiple Campus. She has filed a case against the people involved in the mistreatment with her at the District Police Office, Saptari.
