Banke people mourn over Koirala's demise

NEPALGUNJ, Feb 10: Industries, factories and market places in Banke district have been closed to mourn over the demise of former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Wednesday.

Issuing a press release, FNCCI, Banke Chairman Krishna Prasad Shrestha and Genereal Secretary Bishnu Lamichhane have announced the closure in honor of late Sushil Koirala.


General Secretary Lamichhane said the whole people in the home district have been at a state of shock due to Koirala's demise. The people in the home district of Koirala have been mourning over the death of late Koirala.

The FNCCI, Banke concluded that the nation has lost an honest and ideal leader causing an irreparable damage in the democratic movement of the country.
