KIMATHANKA (SANKHUWASABHA), Jan 4: Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has ruled out the possibility of forming an all-party government, saying the country has already moved decisively towards elections.
Speaking at an interaction organised by the Press Centre in Khandbari on Saturday, Dahal said that as the election process has begun, the incumbent government will itself conduct the polls.

He noted that political parties have already submitted their closed lists under the proportional representation (PR) system to the Election Commission (EC), indicating that the country is firmly on the path to elections.
Stating that the Gen Z youth are in favour of elections, Dahal said there was no reason for uncertainty. He added that there is no prospect of forming an all-party government or reshuffling the current administration.
Talking to journalists before returning to Kathmandu, Dahal said the present government is capable of holding the House of Representatives (HoR) election on March 5.
Recalling commitments made during the constitution-drafting process, he said the political parties had pledged to review the Constitution after 10 years and introduce amendments and refinements based on its strengths and shortcomings.
Dahal also said that, in line with the spirit of the Gen Z movement, political parties need to seek a fresh mandate from the people. He reiterated that since the election process has already begun, there will be no reinstatement of Parliament, and the incumbent government must see the election process through.
