KATHMANDU, March 30: Defending champion APF on Wednesday defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club to record three wins in a row in the Armed Police Force IGP Third National Open Women's Volleyball Championship being held at APF headquarters, Halchowk, Kathmandu.

APF thrashed Jawalakhel by 25-8, 25-7, 25-6 to collect nine points from three matches. APF spiker Nebika Chaudhary bagged player-of-the-match award. Meanwhile, Nepal Police Club recorded a hard fought win over Western Region by 26-24, 26-24, 23-25, 26-24 in another match. Police spiker Chooda Khadka was named player-of-the-match.
