A report published by a leading entertainment portal claims that the couple has broken up to focus on their respective careers at the moment. A source close to the couple confirmed that Virat and Anushka have officially ended their relationship.
Delving into the reasons behind the split, the source mentioned marriage as a point of disagreement between the two. “Yes, marriage was the point of disagreement between the couple. However, it wasn’t a sudden decision. Both Anushka and Virat have been considering it for some time now. While Anushka is busy working, Virat is clearly not over her. Not as yet,” he said.
While neither Anushka nor Virat have made any official statement regarding their relationship status, the stylish cricketer dropped a hint regarding his heartbreak a few days ago.
Virat had posted a ‘break up’ selfie but quickly deleted it too. However, the act didn’t go unnoticed from the eagle eyes of stalking fans, triggering rumours of the Anushka-Virat relationship falling apart. Both unfollowing each other on Instagram added fuel to the fire.
Looking back, Anushka and Virat’s relationship never lacked moments. It was heart touching when Virat stood by his lady love after she was blamed for his poor performance in the World Cup. Also, their romantic gateways and luncheon with family suggested that the duo will make it to the aisle. Unfortunately though, it’s all over between the much-in-love actress-cricketer couple.
