Farhan and Adhuna's marriage was on the rocks for the last one-and-a-half years. Stories of regular fights between the two and the actor moving out of his Bandra pad constantly did the rounds.
But things, we hear, came to a head when Farhan got a tad too friendly with his Wazir co-star.
The two even made a joint appearance at Karan Johar's party last week – this, well after the release of Wazir. So one couldn't even argue that it was for the benefit of the film.
A source close to the star wife says, "Adhuna had a whiff of their growing proximity. But Farhan making a public appearance with Aditi was the final nail in the coffin."
Aditi, who was earlier married to Satyadeep Mishra, kept her married status under wraps for the longest time. Post her divorce, she was even linked to Arunoday Singh.
