1. His first movie was Dil Aashna Hai.

But due to some delay in release of that movie, Deewana released before and is considered to be his debut movie.



2. He signed his first movie for Rs 25000.

He himself took the responsibility to sold the tickets on the first day opening of his film.

3. Till now he has 226 nominations in his name for many Bollywood awards and has won 207 of them.

He is honoured with best actor award 29 times.


4. He is famous on-screen with the names Raj and Rahul.

The name Raj is adopted in 6 of his films including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaenge, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Chalte Chalte AND The name Rahul is adopted in 9 of his movies- Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dil To Pagal Hai, Chennai Express, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, etc.


5. His lucky number is 555.


6. Shahrukh confessed that Mannat is very close to his heart and he is very attached to it.

He even said that if ever he is completely ruined and have to sell everything, he will do it as per the needs but Mannat will never be part of it.
He registered his car with this number. His e-mail id and even his phone number, both also have 555 in it.
