SOLUKHUMBU, August 16: In Jubu Ramchhey village of Solukhumbu, 30 villagers from 25 different families have fallen sick over the last five days.
As informed by the In-charge of Jubu Health Post, Ram Narayan Meheta, most of the patients have fever, headache, and diarrhea.
A team led by Dr Rajendra Basnet that includes medical staff, lab technicians and public health officials has left for Jubu.

Meanwhile, due to the lack of timely treatment, 16 years old Rakesh Puri of the same village lost his life. He breathed his last on the way to hospital. He was suffering from diarrhea for the past two days. It has been found that his family didn't take him to the hospital as he was being treated by a local shaman.
