Addressing parliament on Sunday, Basnet said three among the arrested have been charged with public offense.Condemning the attack against the president, Basnet also informed the parliamentarians that the government has formed a probe team under a Home Ministry joint secretary and chiefs of all three security agencies as the members.
Those arrested are 11 male and four female.
The minister vowed stern action against the culprits.
Tarai-based leaders had chanted slogans while Basnet was addressing parliament.
