Speaking at a press meet organized by Act Alliance Nepal Forum at Shangrilla Hotel on Saturday, Nduna appreciated the Nepali people for their strength to work towards the rehabilitation in post-quake situation. "It is encouraging to see people who are committed to address their needs despite such a disaster in the country," he said.Sharing his experience after visiting various earthquake-hit areas of Sindhupalchowk, Nduna said he found people working in livelihood sector very appreciable. "The people should be encouraged to work in livelihood sector as this generates a long term benefits," he said. He also said the response towards the people after the earthquake was timely and had covered most of the affected areas. "This is a dignified response," he said.
Prabin Manandhar, the country director of Lutheran World Federation Nepal, said that the government is very positive towards the cooperating with the development agencies.
