Bodybuilders off to India

KATHMANDU, Oct 31: A six-member Nepali bodybuilding team, including three bodybuilders, left Kathmandu on Wednesday to participate in the Ninth South Asian Bodybuilding Championship to be held in Ludhiana, India from November 2 to 4.



Among the Nepali bodybuilders, Ram Bahadur Dahal, the winner of the Fourth Mister Himalayan Bodybuilding Championship will compete in the men´s 65 kg weight category while Sachit Pradhan and Shyam Shrestha will compete in the men´s 60 kg and 70 kg weight categories respectively. [break]



Sunil Adhikari is the team leader while Gyanendra Nakarmi is the coach of the team. International judge Pushpa Shrestha is also a member of the Nepali team.



Nepal Bodybuilding and Physical Fitness Association President Rajesh Babu Shrestha and other officials bade farewell to the team amid a function held in the capital on Wednesday.
