Bar officials from entering office without uniform: CIAA

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed the secretaries to bar the government officials and teachers from performing their duties without their official uniform.



Issuing a press statement on Monday, the CIAA said that many officials were found not wearing the uniform though they have received dress allowance. [break]



“We have received complaints that many officials and teachers are found evading their responsibilities seeking many excuses,” the statement reads.



The government has been providing Rs 7500 allowance for official uniform each year.
