Saladin: Director hopes to reach ‘Game of Thrones’ cinematography standards (with video)

The director of the film ‘Saladin’, based on iconic Muslim ruler Salahuddin Ayyubi, Umar Agha claims the teaser of the film is not even close to what he had wanted. But with the help of the concept art, storyboards and this teaser, he now aims to raise $200,000 to create a proof-of-concept trailer (or short film) “at a scale and quality that will beat Game of Thrones.”

After a small hike, I reached the wall from where I could look down into the still water of Kensico Reservoir, New York. The water was gleaming as it reflected the sun; however it was cut by an alternating streak of darkness that surfaced from the deep. As I stood there all alone, taking in the immense beauty of nature, I saw life and death in that pattern.
