Jhuma Devi Kunwar, 58, of Simalphanta in Jhalari VDC-2 was swept away by the river while she tried to catch a slipper that was swept away by the river when she was returning home after grazing goats in Hirapur area of Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve.
Meanwhile, a body of an unknown person of about 45 years of age was found at Piparai on Saturday. Police said the body was carried by the Mahakali River.
