The protesting UML cadres shouted slogans against Maoist ´atrocities´ and demanded action against those involved in attacking UML leaders in Ramechhap on May 17.
Addressing the function, UML´s youth leader Yogesh Bhattarai asked Maoists not to force them to take revenge against them. “UML cadres know both to tolerate and to retaliate,” he said. “Enough is enough. Our days to tolerate Maoist excesses are over.”

He criticized Maoist for failing to take action against any of the Maoist cadre involved in killing UML cadres in several parts of the country. “The excesses of the YCL gone up lately with tacit support from the Maoist party,” he added.
