DAMAK, Nov 8: Leader of the CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, has said that federalism with single ethnic identity could disturb the ethnic harmony in the country.

At a corner meeting organized at Damak-12 in Jhapa district on Friday, Oli said provinces with multi ethnic-identity should be made for the protection of existence of all ethnicities. [break]

Stating that the Constituent Assembly (CA) election would institutionalize republic and federalism in the country, he argued that the CA election would be held on the stipulated date at any cost and the UML would be the largest power.

Oli visited the area eroded by the Ratuwa River and informed about the initiatives taken by the UML to control the river.
