KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Nepal has secured victory over Malaysia in the U-19 Women's T20 World Cup in Malaysia. Nepal defeated Malaysia by seven-wickets in their last match.
After winning the toss, Nepal opted to field and invited Malaysia to bat. Malaysia were all out for 45 runs in 16.5 overs after Captain Puja Mahato took 4 wickets. Nepal achieved the target of 46 runs in 11 overs, losing 3 wickets.
With this win, Nepal’s World Cup journey has come to an end. Nepal had previously suffered defeats in three matches against Bangladesh, Scotland and Australia.
