KATHMANDU, March 21: The local administration Bara arrested two invigilators for helping students cheat in the SEE exam through WhatsApp. Invigilator Ranju Kumari from Pannadevi Kanya Secondary School exam center and running guard Saurabh Yadav were among those arrested.
Chief District Officer Basanta Adhikari stated that they monitored exam centers and intensified surveillance at Pannadevi Kanya Secondary School in Kalaiya after receiving reports of cheating.
Authorities arrested invigilator Ranju Kumari and running guard Saurabh Yadav for sending photos of question papers via WhatsApp and obtaining answers to assist students in cheating.
According to sources, the authorities are continuing the investigation against them. After discovering the use of digital methods for cheating, the administration intensified surveillance at other exam centers.
Adhikari also urged officials to remain vigilant, warning that such incidents could happen not only in Bara but at exam centers nationwide.
