The 16 year old scored three-under 69 on the final round of the tournament to register four-stroke win with five-under 175 for 45 holes. Nepal's amateur golfer Bikash Bogati, finished runner up with one-under 71 for the total score of one-under 179. Arun Tamang, member of the Nepali National team, made a giant stride to finish third after posting a round of four-under 70 for a total of even-par 180.Overnight leader Hridesh Singh of Npal had a disastrous day. He shot seven-over 79 to be tied at fourth place with Indian golfers Viraaj Ganapaty Madappa (74) and Muhmod Dil (67) at 183.
Sangchai, who was two-stokes behind Hridesh as the play resumed on final day, overcame the deficit when Hridesh made bogeys on fourth and sixth holes. Sangchai took one-stroke lead on the seventh hole with a birdie and never looked back.
Arun Tamang bagged nett winner prize with the score of nine-under 135. Second round score was not included for nett score as it was not completed due to downpour on Monday. Bikash also walked home with nett runner-up prize with the score of four-under 140. Sangchai also stood second runner-up in the nett category with the score of three-under 141.
Thailand's Sangchai Kaewcharoen and Ekkarat Leksuwan had on Monday won team event title with the score of one-over 217. India's Simarjeet Singh and Viraaj G Madappa had finished runner-up with three-over 219.
Altogether 51 players were in the fray from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Thailand and Nepal out of which 30 players made the cut to final for Tuesday.
Nepal Golf Association President Madhukar Yaktumba, Gokarna Forest Resort Chairman Prem Sachdev, Vice President and General Secretary of Nepal Golf Association, Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha and Tashi Ghale gave the prizes to the winners.
