Sit-in staged outside PM’s residence

KATHMANDU, March 30: Accusing the government of paying no heed toward the demands put forth by Dr Govinda KC, medical students, senior doctors and general public have staged a sit in outside the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Monday morning.

Students studying at plus two level have also joined the protest notwithstanding the bad weather.

Carrying placards with word #IamwithDrKc, they are chanting slogans ‘Address demands of Dr KC’, ‘Save GKC’, ‘ Take action against the corrupt’ among others.

Those participating in the sit-in have requested all to send a SMS on mobile number 9841409928 of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to pile pressure on him to address Dr KC’s demands.
