Regmi, Khanal hold talks

Jhalanath Khanal and chairman of Interim Government Council Khilaraj Regmi held talks at Singh Durbar on Sunday.



During the meeting, the duo discussed the contemporary political matters including the disputed provisions of election law draft, ongoing talks with dissident parties and formation of commission for electoral constituency delineation among others.[break]



According to a press statement issued by Khanal’s personal aide, Ram Babu Adhikari, Khanal, who is also chairman of High Level Political Committee (HLPC) emphasized on the need to expedite the talks with agitating parties to bring them on board in the election process.



Saying that HLPC is continuing its efforts to bring the dissident parties on board through talks, he also informed that they have convinced the agitating CPN-Maoist and Madhesi Peoples’ Rights Forum, Nepal to sit for talks for today itself.
