The discussion underlined the need to hold the CA polls on the stipulated time as it will legitimize the roles of leaders and formally incorporate the rights of the people, said Pandey in a press note, adding, " The talks also stressed for bringing the agitating political parties to bring on board the election process."

At the meeting, Chairman Khanal, who is also the coordinator of High Level Political Committee (HLPC), asked Regmi to take initiative to fulfill the vacant posts in the constitutional bodies including the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and other diplomatic missions.

Chairma Regmi assured Khanal that the government will take decisions immediately after holding discussions on this issue.
