Mahato has been kept at the paying ward of BPKIHS since Monday morning for further treatment.
Mahato, who had sustained injuries in his head, hand and legs, is undergoing treatment under direct supervision by a neurosurgeon and orthopedicians. A team of doctors led by BPKIHS deputy director of BPKIHS Pashupati Chaudhary is doing his treatment.
According to doctor Chaudhary, Mahato is recovering and out of risk. "His head, hands and legs are badly hurt, and his blood pressure is increasing and blood sugar level is also high. We've kept him for a few days for observation," he said.
Although there is blood clot in his head just under the skin there is no injury to the brain. There is a small fracture in the ring finger of his left hand and small wound in the right thigh, according to the doctors.
