At a press meet in the district this morning, secretary Pokharel added that the dialogue and protest were supplementary to each other.He further said that the alliance will wait until March 14 for meaningful results and if the ruling parties did not deliver positive results then there would be no option for going for protest.
Leader Pokharel added that if all the political parties forge minimum consensus on the disputed issues of a new constitution then the current deadlock would be ended soon.
Prime Minister's frequent call for dialogue, constituent assembly (CA) chairman's decision of postponing the CA meeting and the party level decision of Nepali Congress and UCPN (UML) for dialogue have created positive environment for dialogue, leader Pokharel added.
UCPN (Maoist) chief whip Pokharel said that the new constitution should be drafted on the basis of consensus among all political parties and on the basis of various people's movement. He further mentioned that the constitution without federalism wouldn’t give result to the marginalized and suppressed groups. RSS
