A 18-year-old girl from Voil Timikiya VDC has filed a rape case against head constable Brijakishore Yadav of District Police Office on the rape charge.According to the victim, the head constable Yadav in plain clothes allegedly raped the girl at the room no.3 of the Jaleshwor-based AC Paradesi Hotel on Monday noon.
The victim has accused head constable of carrying out the crime after chasing her boyfriend out of the room. The girl had come there with her boy friend.
According to SP Shaurav Rana at District Police Office, an investigation is underway into the incident.
SP Rana informed that the accused and the victim have been sent for medical examination and proper action will be taken after receiving the medical report.
