KATHMANDU, Oct 28: An assistant head constable of the Armed Police Force (APF) who was arrested on the charge of raping a girl has been found dead in the custody toilet.
Ram Bahadur KC, Superintendent of Police (SP), said that constable Rewan Pachbhaiya Magar was found dead in the custody toilet of the District Police Office, Dang.

According to SP KC, Magar was found dead hanging from the ventilation with the clothes he had worn.
Along with him, assistant head constable Bharat Roka Magar was also arrested on the charge of raping eight-year-old and 14-year-old girls who had gone to play swing on October 10, both being APF assistant head constables of Jwalamai Battalion No 29.
Their arrest was delayed due to the fact that the accused had been kept under cover since the incident. However, both accused were arrested and handed over to Nepal Police on Oct 24.
