KATHMANDU, March 27: Following the swearing-in of newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen), the ministers in his cabinet also took the oath of office and secrecy today.
The ministers sworn in include Dr Swarnim Wagle as Minister for Finance, Shisir Khanal as Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Sudan Gurung as Minister for Home Affairs.

Likewise, Pratibha Rawal took charge of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, and Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, while Khadka Raj (Ganesh) Paudel assumed responsibility for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. Sunil Lamsal took charge of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Transport, and Urban Development.
Similarly, Gita Chaudhary took charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, and Sasmit Pokharel was sworn in as Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, and Youth and Sports. Nisha Mehata took charge as Minister for Health and Population. Sita Badi was sworn in as Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, while Sobita Gautam was sworn in as Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
Likewise, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha took charge of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, and Bikram Timilsina was sworn in as Minister for Communications and Information Technology. Dipak Sah was sworn in as Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security.
Meanwhile, Amresh Kumar Singh declined the ministerial post of Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies. Following his refusal, Prime Minister Balen retained that ministry along with the Ministry of Defense.
