KATHMANDU, July 3: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chief Whip, Gyanendra Shahi, said that election candidates should now be chosen from the hearts of the people, not from the pockets of political leaders.

Taking to social media on Thursday, Shahi wrote, “Candidates must be chosen by the people, not by any leader’s pocket. The days when people trusted handpicked candidates are over.”
