The four-day event is being organized by Nagarik daily - a publication of Nepal Republic Media (NRM) -- in association with Avid Investment and Services. [break]
Binod Raj Gyawali, chairman and managing director of NRM and Deepak Malhotra, managing director of International Marketing Services - the authorized distributor for Samsung in Nepal, jointly inaugurated the event.
The event features a total of 46 stalls and 26 pavilions of companies dealing on apparels, cosmetics and ornaments, automobiles, furniture, electronic gadgets and liquors, among others.
“We have arranged free entry for the visitors so that they can buy various items at reasonable price under one roof,” Grishma Vaidya of the organizer´s team told Republica.
Madhu Shree Sharma of Tricot Industries said her company is offering heavy discount on products made of Tricot fiber. “We are excited by the turnout of visitors on the first day,” she added.
Tricot Industries has been exporting Tricot products to countries like in the European countries like the UK and France.
Similarly, Bosing Nepal is showcasing products like folding tables, baby toys, and home appliances like yoghurt maker, momo maker, egg boiler and Ozinizer which sterilizes and deodorizes water, fruits, vegetables and meat. “Visitors are showing keen interest on our products based on latest technology,” Santosh Poudel, marketing officer of Bosing Nepal, said.
Bosing Nepal has announced 5 percent discount on all the products exhibited at the fair.
Popular Indian singer Lucky Ali is scheduled to perform at the event on Saturday. Raju Lama of Mangolean Heart will accompany him, according to the organizers.
The four-day event will conclude on Monday. Samsung smartphones and Ruslan Vodka are the co-sponsors of the event.
