KATHMANDU, Jan 6: The main opposition party, the CPN (Maoist Center), has decided to publicly disclose the property details of its central office-bearers.
During the ongoing central committee meeting, which began on Sunday, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal introduced a plan to make the property details of the central office-bearers public. In a political report he presented at the meeting, under the theme of economic transparency, he stated that "the property details of the central officials will be made public."
Dahal's plan also proposes that central members update and submit their property details to the central office annually.
