KATHMANDU, July 19: The National Vigilance Center (NVC) has requested public officials or government employees to submit their property details. Hari Prasad Sharma, information officer and Under Secretary of NVC, said that according to Section 50 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 BS, public officials or employees have been asked to submit their property details for the fiscal year 2022/23.

According to Sharma, all officials and employees who hold public responsibilities and receive salaries or not are requested to submit their property details within 60 days from the commencement of the new fiscal year.


It is said that if a public official or employee does not provide the property details within the specified time, the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority will be requested to investigate him/her in accordance with Sub-section (3) of Section 50 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 BS.
