Iranian tourist missing in Trishuli river

CHITWAN, Sept 8: An Iranian tourist, who went for swimming in the Trishuli River, has gone missing.



Ashaf Jafari, 47, left his camping site on Monday afternoon at Dahakhani VDC-6 in Chitwan and went to swim in the river after rafting. He has been missing since then.



Police said that they searched for the missing Iranian national the whole night, but to no avail.



It is learnt that Jafari was among other foreign tourists, who came for rafting in the Trishuli.
