The help desk was almost non-effective with sharp decrease of patients, informed the Chitwan District Public Health Office. The desk was established here in the first week of March to ease patients confirmed for swine flu as the flow of such patients at the moment was high.
Since the beginning of April, there have been no patients approaching the help desk, said Ram Kumar KC of Chitwan District Public Health Office.
Among 540 tested so far, 153 have been confirmed swine flu virus infection in Chitwan. The swine flu infection has decreased with the rise in mercury, said doctors.
Bharatpur Hospital's Swine Flu Response Team member Dr Bhoj Raj Adhikari said the swine flu has turned to be normal like cough and common cold.
