Gold price up, silver holds steady

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price for hallmarked gold is currently set at Rs 319,000 per tola (11.66 grammes), whereas the price for one tola of silver is maintained at Rs 5,720.

KATHMANDU March 11: The price of gold has risen by Rs 2,000 compared to Tuesday, while silver price remains unchanged in the domestic market today.



As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price for hallmarked gold is currently set at Rs 319,000 per tola (11.66 grammes), whereas the price for one tola of silver is maintained at Rs 5,720.

On Tuesday, hallmark gold was priced at Rs 317,000 per tola, with silver also at Rs 5,720 per tola. 


According to the international media reports, one ounce of gold is trading at 5,210 USD, while silver is priced at 89 USD for the same quantity in the international bullion market today.
